About our internal glass doors
Our glass doors are a perfect replacement for your interior doors. You can choose from two standard sizes which are designed to fit internal door frames. The toughened glass doors are either 754 mm x 1960 mm (which will fit a 30" door frame of 762 mm x 1980 mm) or 678 mm x 1960 mm (to fit narrower 27" bathroom doors that are 686 mm wide).
Installing your glass door
It's simple to install your new glass door. Just remove the existing door and replace it with the glass door. We'll supply you with everything you need - hinges, handles and latch with keep plate. The glass door will be fully prepared with all the necessary holes, so you can get started straight away.
If you wish, you may even be able to use the existing keep plate. It is possible to surface mount the hinges. There should not be any need to rebate the frame to fit our hinges. It is advisable to fill the rebates left by the old hinges and redecorate the frame prior to final fixing of the glass door.
Please bear in mind that our glass doors are square, so check your existing aperture to ensure that it's square too, as the size of the door can't be altered.
Toughened glass and obscured contemporary finish
The doors are made from 8mm toughened glass to BS6206 class A. The finish is either obscured or clear, both allow light through.
